| Champagne 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback |
 |
In 1965 the Mustang coupe and convertible was joined by a totally new body style, the 2 + 2 fastback. This Astor collection beauty was produced in San Jose California in August, just a few days before the season's production ended. Looking like it did when delivered new; it is finished in a Champagne Beige exterior with Palomino and White vinyl bucket seats. What makes this Pony special is the 289 A-Code four-barrel small block engine that provides plenty of kick. The Mustang was treated to an exterior freshening several years ago with the chrome trim replated or replaced. The factory interior remains as does the original gauges which shows 91,800 miles, believed to be from new. Among the accessories are a very rare AM-FM factory radio, dealer add-on air conditioning, deluxe seat belts, wire wheel covers and rocker moldings. This is an opportunity to own an original, one of the prettiest Fords ever seen, the Mustang 2 + 2 Fastback. |
