| Red/White 1957 Ford Ranchero Truck |
 |
This example from the Astor collection is one of 15,277 deluxe edition 1957 Ford Ranchero Deluxe Pickups produced that year. Built in San Jose, CA., it is a true California native. It is equipped with a 292 Thunderbird V-8 engine and automatic transmission. The Deluxe edition was trimmed like the Custom 300 series, as was the stylish Del Rio Station Wagon. A number of accessories are included, such as Signal Seeking radio, Magic Aire heater and defroster, correct vintage rubber floor mats and a combination rear-view mirror spot light on the driver's side. Other options include Master Guide Power Steering, intergral back-up lights, rocker panel molding, full wheel covers and four-wheel drum brakes. The Ranchero was given a full restoration a few years ago and the color changed to the popular Torch Red and Colonial White both inside and out. |
